Thank you all for your interest and outreach to this point. This unseasonably nice weather has everyone thinking about being on the diamond already, and we cannot wait. Based on some of the questions we've been receiving, we thought it would be a good idea to outline some of structure and ideals for the Teener League in 2024.
Our Mission
To provide a local, fun, recreational baseball opportunity for area Teener League age players (age 16 and under) wanting to continue playing baseball beyond Little League
Teams/Divisions NEW in 2024
The State College Teener League is looking to alter the model of the league for the 2024 season with the past few years featuring mostly intact travel teams as league participants.
New for the 2024 season, teams will primarily be formed from the entire pool of players to create roughly equal ability squads.
In the event there is enough interest from older players to create enough teams, we will have separate divisions for 13/14 and 15/16. Otherwise, all players will be dispersed evenly among teams in the same division.
Dates
An evaluation will be held in early April and teams will be formed.
Practices and games will begin in April and run throughout early August.
Activities will primarily be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
